Cobalt - Preliminary Level Eventer with a great temperament for riders at any level
2009 16 hand Paint Gelding
"Blue" has been with our family since October 2016. In the spring of 2017 he was campaigned by 13 year old Nicholas at several Training Level Horse Trials. During the summer of 2017 Emily took over the ride in order to give Blue experience at the Preliminary Level. Blue has now successfully completed Preliminary Horse Trials and while still developing at the level shows plenty of ability to be competitive through the 1* Level. While he enjoys the challenges of the Preliminary Level Blue would also be happy to be campaigned at the lower levels. With attractive movement, excellent training, a very good jump, reliable cross-country record, and solid temperament make him a great partner for many. He will continue in his training and competitions until a new home is found. Full vetting available from October 2016.
Mantis B - 3rd level dressage horse and great Junior/Amateur partner with upper level potential
2009 15.3 hand Bay TB cross Gelding
Although it's early in his career, Mantis B (aka Manny) has already proven to be very competitive in the show ring. His first recognized dressage show he earned the training level high score - scoring over 70%! His second recognized show he scored a 69% in the First Level test. In 2017 Manny showed at both 2nd and 3rd Level. Scoring above 70% in his first 3rd Level Test. Manny is naturally balanced, an attractive mover and very comfortable to ride. With his willing temperament and easy going demeanor, Manny would best be suited for an ambitious young rider or adult amateur.
Manny was bred to be an upper level event horse but prefers the consistency of dressage. He has no vices, has never been injured, and is very easy to work with on the ground. Manny self loads, ties, clips, and is overall very low maintenance. We also have a full set of radiographs that were taken as a 3 year old which we would be happy to provide.
Asking $28,000 (price subject to increase with more training).
